Effective date and acceptance
These Terms of Use are effective July 8, 2026. By using Wend, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Wend is a word-puzzle game provided by Salih F. Simsek. It includes Daily and Unlimited puzzles, locally saved progress, optional hints, and advertising. Features and puzzle availability may change over time.
Hints and rewarded ads
Each puzzle includes one free hint. Unless Remove Ads is active, later hints require a rewarded ad. One additional hint is granted only after the advertising service confirms that the reward was earned. Closing an ad early, losing connectivity, an ad error, privacy restrictions, or unavailable inventory does not earn a hint. Ad availability is not guaranteed, and no alternative reward or compensation is owed when an ad is unavailable.
Other advertising
Wend may display banner ads and occasional interstitial ads at natural completion points. Advertising is provided by third parties and may vary by location, privacy choices, device, and availability. Personalized advertising is not a condition of ordinary gameplay, and a failed or unavailable ad does not block puzzle completion or navigation.
Remove Ads purchase
Remove Ads is an optional non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store and managed by RevenueCat. When active, it removes banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads from Wend on supported platforms. Use Restore Purchases in Settings to restore the purchase for the same App Store account.
Acceptable use
Use Wend only for lawful, personal entertainment. Do not interfere with the app, advertising systems, security controls, or reward logic; attempt unauthorized access; reverse engineer the app except where applicable law permits it; or use automated means to manipulate gameplay, advertising, or statistics.
Availability and responsibility
Wend is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Continuous, error-free, or uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. You are responsible for your device, connectivity, and compliance with applicable laws. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and termination
The app or these terms may be changed, suspended, or discontinued when reasonably necessary. Updated terms will show a revised effective date. You may stop using Wend at any time by uninstalling it. Access may be restricted when necessary to protect the app, its users, providers, or legal compliance.
