Privacy Policy

Effective date

July 27, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Salih F. Simsek handles information when you use Wend.

Information stored by Wend

Wend stores detailed puzzle progress, found words, hints used, elapsed times, completion statistics, app preferences, and advertising-scheduling state locally on your device. Wend does not require an account. Limited game usage and diagnostic information may be processed as described below.

Analytics and diagnostics

Wend uses analytics to measure game usage and improve the experience. Crash and error reporting is used to help identify and fix technical issues.

Advertising services

Wend uses Google Mobile Ads to provide banner, rewarded, and interstitial ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share information such as IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers, app launches and ad interactions, ads viewed, diagnostics, crash information, and performance data. Google and its advertising partners process this information to deliver and measure ads, provide analytics, prevent fraud, and maintain security.

How ads are selected

Depending on your region, choices, device settings, and ad availability, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. Personalized ads may use activity or interests associated with your device. Non-personalized and limited ads do not use that information to personalize the ad, but may still use IP address, device information, contextual signals, and technical storage needed for delivery, measurement, security, or fraud prevention.

Consent and privacy choices

Where required, Google’s consent message asks for your advertising choices before Wend requests ads. On iOS, the message may also present Apple’s tracking permission prompt. You can use Wend without agreeing to personalized advertising. When Google requires an ongoing privacy entry point, Settings displays Privacy choices so you can review the available options. Your device settings may provide additional advertising or tracking controls.

Purchases

Wend uses RevenueCat to manage the Remove Ads purchase status. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, transaction status, app user identifiers generated by the purchase SDK, device and app information, diagnostics, and related entitlement data so Wend can unlock purchased access and restore purchases.

Rewarded hints and ad availability

The first hint in each puzzle is free. Unless Remove Ads is active, later hints are granted only after Google confirms completion of a rewarded ad. If an ad is unavailable, cannot legally be requested, fails, or is closed early, no hint is granted and ordinary gameplay remains available.

Retention and deletion

Wend keeps its local information until it is reset, removed through your device’s app-data controls, or deleted when you uninstall the app, subject to any device backup settings. Information processed by analytics, diagnostics, advertising, or purchase service providers is retained under their own policies. Wend does not control those retention periods.

Children

Wend is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information through the app, contact us so the concern can be reviewed.

Security and changes

Wend relies on platform storage protections for local information and on its service providers for information they process. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. This policy may be updated when the app, its providers, or legal requirements change; the effective date will be revised when that happens.
